Borrow a Nook!
The Bayard Taylor Memorial Library is excited to announce the arrival of the NOOK for circulation! The NOOK is an eBook Reader developed by Barnes & Noble, and features wireless connectivity and a six-inch touch-screen display. Every library in the Chester County Library System now has seven NOOKS, each of which comes loaded with a set of titles from a specific genre, which are available for CCLS patrons. Genres include Biography, Fiction, Mystery, Non-fiction, Romance, Sci-fi & Fantasy, and Thrillers. Each genre features about ten titles, currrent and classic: from Doyle's The Complete Sherlock Holmes to Evanovich's Explosive 18 (Mystery), or from Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings trilogy to Martin's A Game of Thrones (Sci-fi & Fantasy), just to name a few.

The NOOK collection was made possible by a $30,000 Library Sciences and Technology Act (LSTA) Innovative Projects Grant. The LSTA and its grants allow libraries a chance to improve their service for patrons by incorporating new technology and innovations.

To borrow a NOOK, present your valid CCLS library card and a photo ID at the Circulation Desk; or reserve a NOOK via the online catalog here at Bayardtaylor.org.
